The Basics to Selling to Chain Stores

Learn how to do selling to chair stores what chain stores expect from you; how the buying process works; who’s involved in their buying decision; the types of product categories and what you need to know; how to know who are the local regional and/or corporate buying offices and learn what are the common misconceptions and how to get started today.

State Payroll Tax Workshop

This workshop provides participants with hands practice on how to calculate state taxes and complete state payroll tax forms. The workshop is recommended for those who have previously attended a Federal/State Basic Payroll Tax Seminar or for those familiar with state payroll tax reporting but who would like additional practice. We will overview several topics specific to web start-ups including the lean start-up methodology equity financing and incubation web application product development and start-up marketing. Taxes and Your Business How to Prepare Schedule C

Review what the IRS wants to know from you and how to report it on the Schedule C for your business. This is a class for business owners who need a basic understanding of their 1040 Schedule C tax forms. We’ll also talk about what to do with the numbers once you have them. We don’t guarantee you won’t get audited but this class will make it less likely.

Creating and Using Your “Elevator Pitch”

All entrepreneurs need to have a clear and engaging elevator pitch. Learn how to have people listen to you understand you and be compelled to help you or seek assistance from your business. Learn the how’s why’s and word choice to include in your pitch and most importantly practice saying it. In this interactive class attendees will stand up and read the elevator pitch written try to memorize it and then they ultimately work towards delivering it with confidence.
