Last month, SBA offices nationwide celebrated the 2009 Small Business Week. In Nevada, the local small businesses and lenders who were selected for awards and recognition were honored at a luncheon on May 7 at the Orleans, sponsored by In Business Las Vegas.
Small Business Week celebrates the thousands of businesses that are such an integral part of our economic profile, in addition to the many and varied supporters of this community. In Nevada alone 45% of the private workforce is employed by small businesses.
TMC Development (also known as Mortgage Capital Development Corp.) was proud to have been awarded “Most Loans and Highest Dollar Volume by a Certified Development Company – Gold Level – 2008”. TMC’s local SBA experts Ann Santiago and Cindy Santilena have made a big impact in the Las Vegas small business community with their contributions in SBA financing.
