Financial Women’s Association of San Francisco (FWA) Hosts 17th Annual Financial Woman of the Year Award Luncheon Honoring Barbara Morrison, President of TMC Financing, for her 30 Years of Advocacy for Women and Small Business.

The FWA Woman of the Year Luncheon raises awareness about the successes of women in finance; honors an outstanding woman financial leader in the Bay Area; and generates funds for the FWA Scholarship Program. The Scholarship Fund has awarded over $1.75 million to more than 200 Bay Area women. Table and sponsorship opportunities are available.

The 2012 Financial Woman of the Year Award applauds Barbara Morrison’s outstanding leadership in financial services, her active participation in the community, and her unwavering commitment to the advancement of women.

Barbara and her team at TMC Financing have provided over $6.4 billion in commercial real estate financing to more than 3,900 small businesses, creating over 27,000 jobs since the firm’s founding 30 years ago. Barbara also founded Working Solutions in 2004, a nonprofit organization committed to providing micro loans, coaching, and education to Bay Area entrepreneurs.

FWA promotes the development, career progress, and leadership of women in finance and financial services.
