They\u2019re\u00a0achieving their\u00a0vision with a new facility\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0much more than simply a place to clean cars:\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0bound to become a family-friendly community hub for all to experience and enjoy.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s\u00a0how\u00a0<\/span>TMC Financing<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<\/span>SBA 504 loan<\/span><\/a>\u00a0helped.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Building on a legacy of business success<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Cliff, who is a former mayor of Orangevale, CA, ex<\/span>plains that <\/span>while <\/span>Downtown Orangevale Car Wash<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0located\u00a0at\u00a09352 Greenback Lane,\u00a0is important as a business venture, \u201cOur<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0bigger goal is to create something that brings joy to our community.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Their vision\u00a0included\u00a0more than a standard car wash \u2013 theirs includes a dog wash\u00a0and mascots, a laser show, and music, too \u2013 as well as a slew of\u00a0community fundraisers and\u00a0special events.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a family business,\u00a0<\/span>Warehouse Interiors<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0and\u00a0with this new venture, we wanted to build something that could be fun\u00a0and\u00a0community focused, as well as profitable,\u201d\u00a0Cliff explains. \u201cWe\u2019ve\u00a0also\u00a0redeveloped a lot of commercial properties around town and had\u00a0this\u00a0additional\u00a0land\u00a0available. After speaking with people about what would be a great fit for the spot, a car wash came up\u00a0over and over.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Researching the right opportunity<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It took several years before they decided to move forward with that plan, in part because the Wylie family wanted to make something special there. \u201cI attended a convention in Las Vegas for car-wash businesses, and I was blown away by what we could do with our location,\u201d Cliff admits.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With dogs being as important to their family as people, they knew they wanted to add a dog wash \u2013 and when they learned about lasers, music, and more that could be built into the\u00a0<\/span>car-wash experience<\/span><\/a>, they were hooked.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI can envision a mom or dad piling the kids in the car to enjoy the whole experience,\u201d Cliff says. \u201cThat\u2019s the goal \u2013 to provide\u00a0something different, to\u00a0bring\u00a0joy, to make someone\u2019s life a little easier because when the kids are bored, they can come here and have fun together.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Partnering with TMC<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cliff credits\u00a0<\/span>Rick Poipao of RCP Construction<\/span><\/a>\u00a0with introducing his team to the SBA 504 loan and TMC Financing. \u201cWe\u2019ve worked with Rick and RCP for years on many projects, and his advice regarding TMC was some of the best that we got over the five or six years of the project.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, Rick referred Cliff to TMC after working with\u00a0<\/span>SVP\u00a0Jim Azevedo<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and the TMC team on his own construction project \u2013 a connection that proved invaluable as Cliff moved forward with his vision,\u00a0\u201cIf it wasn\u2019t for Jim,\u201d Cliff says, \u201cwe may have just thrown in the towel.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s\u00a0because deals like this are complex and take an experienced and dedicated team to bring\u00a0them\u00a0to fruition \u2013 and\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0what Cliff found with Jim and TMC.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SBA 504 loans are made in partnership between the business owner\/s, a bank, and an SBA-certified lender, like TMC. For the wash project, Celtic Bank partnered on the deal.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Securing the right financing<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For their ground-up construction project\u00a0to build the 4,800-square-foot facility,\u00a0Cliff says that the right financing was essential. \u201cA wash like ours is a big investment and\u00a0required\u00a0a lot of permitting and plans,\u201d he says.\u00a0\u201cIt also takes the right financing to make it feasible.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The SBA 504 loan is a great\u00a0option\u00a0because it offers:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
