Chief Financial Officer
Mike Vanecek is the Chief Financial Officer at TMC Financing, a Certified Development Company that provides commercial real estate financing to small businesses throughout California and Nevada.
Under Mike and the rest of the leadership team, TMC is one of the top five Certified Development Companies nationwide. TMC’s experienced team works directly with borrowers, lenders, and real estate brokers to tailor financing packages that meet SBA program guidelines and the borrower’s credit capacity.
As CFO, Vanecek is responsible for all financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management for TMC. Vanecek prepares quarterly and annual SBA reports, ensuring accuracy and completion in all facets. He oversees the departments of Accounting, Human Resources, Facility Management and IT.
Vanecek also serves as CFO of TMC’s sister company, Working Solutions. Working Solutions is an innovative nonprofit microlender that helps underserved entrepreneurs access the capital and support they need to start and grow their businesses.
Vanecek joined TMC in 2015 with a strong background in finance and business operations. Prior to TMC, Vanecek was a Managing Partner at Crecer Business Performance, a company aimed to help small businesses run their business better. He has also led the Finance Department at Kontera and served as the Finance and Operations Manager at Norton Corporation. Vanecek’s well-versed experience in operations and finance enables him to keep every aspect of TMC and Working Solutions running smoothly.
Mike embodies the TMC Mission and has been a mentor to small business owners, working with them to succeed in owning their own business.
A native to the Bay Area, Mike graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a degree in Accounting.
